Regional Facilitators of the Term!

In order to celebrate the end of the academic year, we are delighted to share with you FOUR facilitators who, across the country, are being hailed as Bigfoot Heroes; those Bigfooters who go above and beyond for us and the schools and children with whom they work with!

So, a BIG thank you from us all and here’s to another great year from September 2019!

The South West’s Facilitator of the term is Lucy Simms who has worked so hard at her creative residency at Oasis Connaught all year and has really grown in her practise over the months. She has also been really wonderful at delivering last minute bookings and making them completely her own with props and lovely creative ideas to get the children excited and learning. Alice  loves  having her on her Bigfoot team! She’s so passionate about the pupils and schools and is just a real star – well done Lucy!

The facilitator of the term in Wales is Rhys Williams, a brilliantly versatile facilitator that delivers almost all our Bigfoot programmes including our ‘Mabinogion’ storytelling performance and workshops, Transition ‘Onwards and Upwards’ performance and our Anti Bullying , performance and workshops ‘The Bigger Picture’. We always have such fantastic feedback about him from our schools. He is a dedicated, hard working and reliable facilitator and the children absolutely love his performances and workshops. Thank you Rhys for all your hard work this term!

Rachel in our North East office has nominated Hannah Parsonage as their facilitator of the term. Although she is learning to drive she has always relied on public transport and she travels all over the North East to get to schools far and wide! She delivers a vast range of projects and programmes for Bigfoot and schools and fellow facilitators alike love her friendly (if slightly wacky) personality. We don’t know what we’d do without her! Well done Hannah!

Charlie Essex is Bigfoot South’s Facilitator of the term ! Charlie joined the Bigfoot South team earlier this year and has truly gone from strength to strength in this short time. Charlie is a great facilitator with a real passion for the subjects he explores. He loves to create interactive performances to kick off his workshops, especially with KS1, bringing them actively into the story. He has delivered some of the specialist Bigfoot workshop programmes such as our Safer Internet Day, hosting a great Parent Workshop at Stonegate Primary, using gentle drama exercises to bring together staff and parents to discuss some of the difficult issues facing children online today. Charlie is such an open and motivated member of the team and we are really pleased to celebrate his hard work as our Facilitator in Focus. Well done Charlie!
