As 2020 draws to a close, we would like to personally thank all of the schools that we have collaborated with this year.This year has been one of insurmountable challenges, and more than ever we are in awe of the dedication and commitment schools and their staff have to ensuring that children in their care have the best education and opportunities possible. The challenges you have faced this year are extraordinary and we want to thank you all for everything that you do. |
The arts world has been devastated this year in ways we never thought possible. To see such talent and creativity stalled has been heart-breaking. Alongside facilitating for Bigfoot, our facilitators are actors, dancers, writers, artists, singers, poets, designers and much more. This rich tapestry of their creative experiences is what makes them so inspiring to the young people with whom they work. We want to thank all of our Bigfooters for the resilience and adaptability they have shown in the most challenging of circumstances. |
That said, we have worked so hard to adapt our programmes so that we can continue to offer children access to inspiring creative opportunities with us. We are, therefore, so proud to have worked with a record number of schools and children this year. We have continued to deliver Creative Residencies, Buzz Days and Worry Wizardprogrammes in several schools across the country and Bigfoot TV’s Transition, Black History Month and Anti-Bullying Week films have been enjoyed in hundreds of classrooms. |
We have delivered our Anti Bullying Week programmes and The Littlest Christmas Elf EYFS show both live and virtually and our amazing virtual pantomime Sleeping Beauty has been watched by a staggering 450 schools. We are truly overwhelmed by the support we have been shown by schools both old and new and we are thrilled that so many children have enjoyed our programmes. We have exciting plans for 2021 and can’t wait to visit your schools – please do contact us if you would like to discuss how we can work with your school next year.
