Here at Bigfoot we’re gearing up for a Summer of sunshine and sport as the Olympics takes Europe by storm with the 2024 Paris games. And what better way to inspire your students to get excited and join in with the action than a Bigfoot ‘Olympic Extravaganza’ workshop?!
Can your pupils work with our Olympics super fan to sing, dance and devise their way to getting everything ready for the big day?
Working with one of Bigfoot’s educators-in-role, pupils will assist us with creating the perfect celebration for this historic event. They will learn and incorporate facts about the history, importance and cultural significance of the Olympic Games, as well explore the three values of Olympism; excellence, respect and friendship. They will be transported to the streets of Paris, learning about key landmarks and French language and will discuss what it takes to be an athlete, from resilience to competitive spirit and ambition. Your school’s creative genius is needed to help bring the whole closing ceremony to life!
