Safer Internet Programme for EYFS & KS1 (45 minutes)
Step into the digital world with Boo, Bigfoot’s curious bunny who loves to explore, play games, watch videos and chat online, but sometimes finds it all a little confusing. This fun, story-led workshop helps our youngest learners understand how to stay safe, kind, and confident while using the internet.
Led by a Bigfoot World Friendship Ambassador, the session combines interactive animation, drama and movement to bring online safety to life. Pupils join Boo’s adventures as he learns what to do when something online makes his tummy feel funny, how to respond if someone is unkind, and why it’s important to take breaks from screens.
Through role-play, storytelling and teamwork, children explore real-life online situations in a safe, imaginative way. They become “secret agents,” completing exciting missions that help Boo make good choices, from recognising when to ask a grown-up for help, to keeping personal details private, to practising empathy and kindness online.
The workshop ends with pupils co-creating simple, memorable Cyber Smart Rules that they can use every day:
Be kind online. Don’t share personal details. Tell a grown-up if something feels wrong. Stick to agreed time limits.
Each child leaves as a proud World Friendship Ambassador, ready to enjoy the internet for all the wonderful things it can offer — safely, respectfully and with kindness.
Perfect for EYFS and KS1, this energetic, age-differentiated workshop supports Safer Internet Day and digital citizenship learning throughout the year.
We can work with up to 5 classes over a day.
