Bigfoot Arts Education Wales delivers creative, curriculum-linked workshops that inspire and engage learners across schools in Wales.
Led by Jo White (stage name: Joanna Griffiths), a BAFTA-nominated actress with over 20 years of experience in theatre, film, and television—including roles in Perfume, Vera Drake, Nice Girl, New Tricks and The Day Britain Stopped—Bigfoot Wales brings a unique blend of professional performance and educational expertise to every project. Jo has worked with acclaimed directors such as Mike Leigh and Dominic Savage, and brings that same creative passion to schools.
Since launching Bigfoot Wales in 2006, Jo has introduced high-quality, arts-based learning to hundreds of schools. Alongside Lead Practitioner Ellie-Mae Williams, the team works closely with educators to ensure every programme is engaging, inclusive, and aligned with the Curriculum for Wales.
