Knife Crime Prevention

Our range of assemblies and workshops about choices and consequences encourage children to talk openly about the important issues around knife crime, gang violence and keeping safe.

We have toured our Powerful Choices assembly & workshop programme all over the UK and have put together a case study of the work.

Powerful Choices: Knife Crime Prevention Workshop for Upper KS2

Powerful Choices is Bigfoot’s knife crime prevention programme for Upper KS2. Using drama, storytelling and discussion, it gives Year 5 and 6 pupils a safe, creative space to explore choices, consequences and the reality of keeping safe as they approach secondary school.

Powerful Choices: Pressure Point

Pressure Point is Bigfoot’s follow-up to our Powerful Choices assembly & workshop programme, designed for Upper Key Stage 2 pupils who are beginning to face trickier social situations. In a fast-paced, drama-led session, students unpack how groups work, what healthy and unhealthy friendships look and feel like, and how to recognise, resist, and respond to peer pressure with confidence.
