So what is ‘Arts Mark’?
Artsmark is the creative quality standard for schools, accredited by Arts Council England. As such, it provides a clear framework for teachers to plan, develop and evaluate arts, culture and creativity across the curriculum.
Schools are supported throughout their Artsmark journey by a regional network of Bridge organisations, providing training, advice, practical teaching resources and introductions to leading cultural organisations in your area. Schools are then awarded Silver, Gold or Platinum, based on their achievements.
We at Bigfoot are delighted to be able to help schools achieve the 7 Quality Principles, as outlined by Arts Council England as helping to raise the standard of work being produced with, by and for young people, by simply having us as a creative and cultural working partner.
