Celebrating Our Exciting Term at Bigfoot Wales!
We are thrilled to share some of the wonderful celebrations from this term at Bigfoot Wales!
This term has been buzzing with creativity as we delivered filmmaking and animation workshops that sparked collaboration among our students. Their hard work and dedication have truly shone through in their projects, showcasing not only their creativity but also their teamwork skills.
A special highlight is our Creative PPA sessions held at Rhiw Syr Dafydd Primary School. Watching the students bring their imaginative projects to life was an absolute joy! Each child contributed their unique ideas, and their enthusiasm was infectious. These sessions do more than just foster creativity; they also build confidence, enhance oracy skills, and promote teamwork. The children genuinely look forward to these sessions each week, and we are excited to see the remarkable progress they are making.
We’ve also been busy with our anti-bullying programmes, including the successful Diversity and Me workshops. This programme has made a significant impact in schools, creating an inclusive and engaging environment for all participants.
Our October half-term workshops in animation and filmmaking were a hit, with both courses fully booked! The kids amazed us with their creativity, producing fantastic films that we were proud to showcase to parents. Hosted at the Llanelli Railway Goods Shed, the workshops provided a unique and inspiring backdrop for our budding filmmakers.
We are also excited to announce that this December has been our busiest Christmas season ever! Our two cheeky elves travelled across South Wales, delivering magical Christmas shows filled with fun and a sprinkle of mischief. These performances have truly been a highlight, spreading joy and festive cheer to everyone involved.
Finally, we are ecstatic to share that several schools have secured the ACW ‘Have a Go’ funding, allowing us to deliver our animation and/or filmmaking workshops across Wales next term. If you’re interested in applying, please reach out—we would love to visit your school!
