We take great pride in knowing that each and every one of our educators is an exceptional facilitator and talented individual. However, once per term we like to select a single educator to focus on and tell you a little bit more about…generally if they’ve gone above and beyond for us and the schools in which they work!
Therefore, this term, please congratulate Izzy Campbell (North), Ellie-Mae Williams (Wales) & Hayley Konadu (London) for being crowned our ‘Educators of the term’; well done everyone! Want to see why they are our Summer Super Stars? Read on…
Bigfoot North – Izzy Campbell
We are thrilled to shine the spotlight on Izzy, our Educator of the Term for Summer!
Izzy has been a consistently brilliant member of the Bigfoot North team. Her passion, professionalism, and creativity shine through in every workshop she delivers. Most recently, Izzy has trained to deliver our Powerful Choices programme, and she’s already been receiving outstanding feedback from schools.
Izzy is an excellent communicator, always organised, reliable, and a real joy to work with. We are so grateful to have her as part of the Bigfoot family, and we think she absolutely deserves this shout-out. Well done, Izzy – we appreciate you! 💛
Bigfoot Wales – Ellie-Mae Williams
We’re absolutely delighted to celebrate Ellie-Mae as our Educator of the Term once again! Ellie-Mae is hugely loved by both staff and children alike. She’s not only a talented practitioner but also one of the sweetest, kindest people you could hope to meet, with a lovely energy that lights up every room.
Her animation workshops have been amazing—packed with creativity, energy, and fun. She always makes sure every workshop is as inclusive as possible, ensuring that all children feel involved and valued. Not only does she deliver engaging sessions for pupils, but she’s also been brilliant in showing staff how to run animation workshops themselves, helping to spread her skills and enthusiasm across the team.
The feedback for Ellie-Mae’s work has been fantastic. One school recently shared:
“I thought it was a highly enjoyable workshop – interactive and fun, with clear messages delivered professionally in a way the children really understood. Fresh and exciting content. Ellie-Mae was excellent with the children and they responded very well. I took away some interesting points made too.”
Alongside animation, Ellie-Mae delivers a range of workshops across different topics, always bringing fresh ideas and a professional, warm approach. We’re incredibly lucky to have her as part of Bigfoot Wales. Congratulations Ellie-Mae!
Bigfoot London – Hayley Konadu
We are thrilled to share that the wonderful Hayley Konadu is Bigfoot HQ’s Educator of the term!
Hayley first joined the Bigfoot team back in the spring of 2019 and we have been honoured to work with her ever since!
Hayley has delivered several of our core programmes, from after school clubs to Buzz Days to Black History Month programmes, as well starring on film as Flo in our Story Tree Stories and as Mama Africa in Bigfoot TV’s Africa My Story! Hayley has an exceptional Summer term, delivering Anti Racism workshops for pupils and staff in schools across London and the Home Counties, as well as supporting Year 6 children in our Big Steps Transition workshops as they prepare for their move to Secondary Schools.
Hayley is the most hard working and passionate of Educators. She gives 100% commitment to every project, skilled at working with children, young people (and their teachers!) of all ages and settings and inspiring them to creatively explore a range of topics, stories and sometime sensitive issues.
Hayley is an absolute joy to work with; it is always a privilege to watch her perform and facilitate. Pupils, teachers and colleagues alike ALWAYS have wonderful things to say about working with Hayley – you can’t help but smile when you are with Hayley! Schools always give Hayley 100% feedback , often commenting on her professionalism and enthusiasm. Rickmansworth School recently told us that Hayley was:
…excellent, engaging and the topics were interesting and relevant to our students.
We are so excited to continue working with Hayley next term, especially on some exciting new projects! Thank you Hayley and well done for a brilliant Summer term!
