Join us as we walk alongside ‘Little Amal’…

We are super excited to be able to bring ‘Little Amal’, an internationally recognised symbol of hope, to all our schools in celebration of Refugee Week this June…

Since ‘The Walk’ in 2021, Amal has travelled over 9,000 miles to demonstrate the resilience and creativity of the thousands of refugees who are in search of a safe place to call home…and her journey continues. Brought to life by the incredible ‘Handsprung Puppet Company’, along with an awesome team of producers and puppeteers- including our very own Bigfooter Emma Longthorne- we are now delighted to be able to share this powerful piece of art with all of our schools this summer. Starting important conversations and inspiring action for Refugees via this unique story is something we are passionate about, and we hope schools will take advantage of this opportunity to celebrate along with us by taking part in our ‘Think Simple, Act BIG’ programme.

We are also continuing our unwavering support to ‘Refugee Week’- a UK wide festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary- who for their 25th anniversary invite everyone to celebrate what compassion looks like in action in order to create a shared understanding and call to action.

By combining Refugee Week’s Simple Acts campaign, alongside Little Amal’s powerful imagery, we will provide schools with a strong message of unity and compassion for our children and young people to invest in.

We are delighted to also be donating £10 for every ‘Think Simple, Act BIG’ booking to THE AMAL FUND

We can’t wait to work with as many schools as possible this year to demonstrate how simple it is to be kind and Welcome Refugees into our communities.
