We have had some time to reflect this term after a very busy summer holidays delivering our HAF clubs for Brighton and Hove City Council and West Sussex County Council. Over 300 children enjoyed creative arts activities and had a nutritious lunch for free over 36 days of delivery.
We are planning now for the return of those clubs to Buckingham Park Primary in Shoreham and Jubilee Library in Brighton. We have a full timetable planned which includes a visit from our Littlest Christmas Elf show for KS1 and EYFS children.
The Littlest Christmas Elf is also touring from 27th Nov to 23rd December to 7 schools, theatres and community centres across Sussex, Hampshire and Brighton. This gorgeous solo show brings festive cheer everywhere that Pip, the tiniest elf in Santa’s workshop goes. With music and interactive moments this is a real treat for the children and a chance for us to flex our theatre muscles and show you what we can do to create special performance events for any school or community setting.
We have a number of partnerships with leading family theatre companies including Spun Glass Theatre bringing 5 performances of The Christmas Spirits, a clowning show with live music and puppets this December and a new workshop in partnership with Golden Toad Theatre and their new musical based on the book Errol’s Garden. We are also very proud of our performers who delivered assemblies in Guestling, Brighton, Havant and a performance at Mini Playhouse in Hastings for Anti Bullying Week.
In 2024 we are hoping to secure our HAF contracts again and possibly expand to Hampshire. Bidding for council funds starts in January so please do get in touch if you would like to nominate your school for a free drama HAF club run by us. We are particularly interested in hearing from schools in Crawley.
