Bigfoot Wales has had an extremely busy term delivering a range of Creative PPA cover for Rhiw Syr Dafydd Primary in Caerphilly and Trelewis Primary and Bedlinog Primary in Merthyr Tydfil, S Wales. We use drama and filmmaking to explore different themes chosen by the schools and each week the children learn new skills also developing self-esteem and building confidence. Each week, we share the children’s experiences and film work on Seesaw, so that children’s parents and guardians can see the children’s growth and celebrate their achievements.
We had two fantastic days at Springwood Primary delivering our Worry Wizard Mental Health and Wellbeing Worry programmes. We worked with Nursery -Year 2 children delivering our I’ve Got Magic Inside Me programme and the children were absolutely fantastic! We also delivered our From Worries to Wellbeing programme to KS2 children. The assembly went extremely well, the staff and children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we had such lovely feedback from everyone. During the workshops, the children were extremely forthcoming in sharing all the lovely things they do to help look after their wellbeing, and to make their wellbeing shine.
Ystrad Mynach Primary School, held a cultural diversity WOW week beginning on the 23rd of October and invited us to deliver our Black and British workshops. The day proved to be a huge success and even some of the parents joined in too!
