WINDRUSH DAY CELEBRATIONS

Windrush Day is celebrated in the United Kingdom every summer to mark the arrival of Afro-Caribbean immigrants to the shores of Britain. Bigfoot will be touring Primary and Secondary schools throughout June and July in order to explore both the journey and the valuable contribution made by the Windrush generation, whilst also helping us honour the British Caribbean community.

Take a look below at what we have on offer throughout 2024/25 and give your students the perfect introduction to modern day multicultural Britain:

  • My Friend Flo; EYFS Storytelling
  • All Aboard the Windrush; KS1 & KS2 Assembly & Workshops
  • Generation Windrush; KS1 & KS2 Workshops
  • Windrush- Then & Now; KS3 & KS4 Workshops
  • The Empire Windrush Filmed Resource (KS1 & KS2)
