We have delighted students with tales from Crunchem Hall, Wonderland, Hogwarts, Professor Puff’s Training School and Anansi, as well as engaging hundreds of young people in the Big Bad Wolf’s dramatic court room trial. We have rapped with Shakespeare, enthused budding poets and writers, as well as explored and celebrated some our best known authors from Shakespeare to Roald Dahl to Dr Seuss…we did it all! The ‘Anansi’ assembly was outstanding! The children were extremely engaged and it was both educational and interactive. Feedback from the workshops was just as positive, with children talking about how immersed they were whilst leaving school.
The workshops built on the children’s oracy skills as well as teamwork and confidence.

(The Educator) was very engaging, and all the children participated. Lots of excitement but he kept the behaviour well under control. He was good at encouraging the less confident children to come up with ideas but there was no pressure. The chance to write their own story at the end was met with great enthusiasm by most children but for the ones that struggled he spent time with individual children where they could verbalise their thoughts and get more support.
All the classes you visited really enjoyed your performance. You were able to come down to the students’ level as SEN school. You are special and an amazing educator. All the staff were happy to have you. Wow! Thank you.
