She has been heavily involved in community arts since her teens and has been delivering Drama and Creative Arts to children and young people for over a decade. In 2008 Bigfoot North East was established, followed by Bigfoot ‘North’ in 2020, and they have been priding themselves on the high quality, innovative and exciting projects and programmes they deliver ever since.
Relishing opportunities to get to know schools, ensuring their projects are tailor made in line with desired outcomes, and more importantly, the ethos of each individual school in mind. The creative team boosts specialists in drama, dance, music, graffiti art and much more, delivering outstanding work with partners such as CBBC, the Arts Council and the Library Service.
Popular programmes only available in the North East include Story Ticklers, offering interactive story telling sessions for EYFS, Bigfoot Blast Off, Maths workshops for KS1 and the Wolf on Trial performance, which invites a whole school to be the jury in a court room setting.
Bigfoot North sees children engaged and enthused by their learning every single day and are confident they offer experiences you won’t find anywhere else.
