Friendships: The feather, The Tooth and The Kiss

An enchanting tale of friendship, kindness, and imagination for EYFS & KS1

Welcome to the magical world of the Story Tree, where imagination takes root and friendship grows. In this joyful storytelling workshop for EYFS and KS1, children step into a sparkling forest filled with rainbow-coloured trees, golden dust, and talking animals, a world where every movement, word, and idea helps bring a story to life.

Through interactive drama, movement, and song, pupils join Tara Tickle on her quest to find three special ingredients: the feather of a grumpy bird, the tooth of a grateful fox, and the kiss of a happy spider. Along the way, they meet curious characters, solve problems together, and discover that true friendship grows from kindness, courage, and helping others.

Each child becomes part of the adventure, using their bodies to create trees, rivers, and creatures, learning to express ideas through movement and storytelling. The session combines drama games, character role-play, and imaginative exploration, encouraging speaking, listening, and empathy through play.

As the story unfolds, pupils realise the heart warming truth at its centre: that friendship doesn’t need magic potions or fairy spells, it begins when we share, listen, and care for one another. The workshop ends with a lively group song, celebrating the Story Tree’s message of connection and community.

Story Tree Stories: The Feather, the Tooth and the Kiss is a beautiful blend of story, movement, and imagination, an uplifting journey that reminds children that when we reach out to others, we can help friendship grow.

Each session is 45 minutes long for a class of 30 children. We can work with up to 5 classes over a day.
