Are your students ready for Shakespeare overload?!
This exciting new show invites participants to take part in a large scale learning opportunity with their peers. Up to 120 students can participate in each 40 minute session whereby two Bigfooters in role will engage, enthrall and educate students by taking them on a fun fueled literary adventure into the world of Shakespeare!
Based on Bigfoot’s popular Rapspeare workshop, RAPSPEARE LIVE! is a fun and fast paced exploration of some of the Bard’s most famous plays. Using contemporary hip hop beats and rhyming techniques, our enigmatic Bigfooters-in-role will help your students learn about who Shakespeare was and what inspired him to write. Story, imagination and intrigue will play a major role in helping to immerse participants in his verse so that they can understand more intricately about the language and writing style he created, but also how his transcripts were transferred to stage and performed for all to enjoy!
This 40 minute performance is perfect for celebrating all things Shakespeare, whether it be for World Book Day, Shakespeare Week, Literacy sessions or for enrichment days.
