This thought-provoking experience focuses on understanding how we maintain positive relationships and the importance of embracing each other’s differences. Using filmed child testimonies, your students will work with our World Friendship Ambassadors to explore why some children may be bullied, why some may bully others, what unkind behaviour and discrimination looks like, as well as how we can work together to ensure everyone feels respected, no matter who they are. A wonderfully creative way to examine; ‘What Would YOU Do?’
What Would You Do? is a dynamic, drama-based anti-bullying workshop designed to empower pupils to recognise, understand, and respond to bullying in a safe and constructive way. Through interactive role-play, storytelling, and group activities, children explore real-life scenarios from the perspectives of the bully, the target, and the bystander. The workshop encourages pupils to discuss different types of bullying – physical, verbal, and online, and to think critically about the consequences of harmful behaviour.
Using creative drama techniques such as improvisation, freeze-frames, and problem-solving exercises, pupils work together to consider positive ways to act when faced with challenging situations.
By the end of the session, pupils will be able to identify what bullying is and how it differs from conflict or teasing. They will gain confidence in recognising the power of empathy, kindness, and teamwork in preventing bullying, and learn practical strategies to support themselves and others. This workshop is designed to promote respect, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility, encouraging pupils to ask themselves the crucial question: What would I do?
