Bigfoot Wales has had an extremely busy term delivering a wide range of DCF workshops to schools across the country. We were thrilled to be invited back to Cyfarthfa Park Primary School in Merthyr to film the Year 6’s in order to create a film based on their memories of Primary School which will be shown at their leavers concert at the end of term.

As well as our Filmmaking Workshops, our Animation Workshops have been hugely popular again this term. Over the past 10 years, we have been delivering animation workshops using a simple process using istop motion. These workshops act as a hook to engage the learning on given stories or themes that the children are focusing on in class. The children are given an opportunity to create backdrops, sets, props and characters out of plasticine, storyboards, and scripts. Finally filming their animations using stop motion studio. The school receive a link of the children’s animations that can be shared to parents/guardians. The children absolutely love watching their final animations and we are very proud of all their hard work.
As well as our filmmaking and Animation workshops, we were extremely busy delivering our Party at the Palace workshops.
