Powerful Choices is an empowering experience for the children. It recognises and acknowledges the complexity of the issues young people face and doesn’t lecture. The children have their voices heard and the programme gives them agency in their decision making. Adrian is hugely respectful of the children he works with and he enables them to share their thoughts and ideas confidently. After a session with Adrian, the children seem to grow a few inches taller. His presence and humour enable him to make a very serious and difficult subject accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
