We are absolutely delighted to announce that Bigfoot Wales is now a National Partner with the Food and Fun scheme, which offers children (often from underserved communities) the opportunity to enjoy food, activities and enrichment over the summer holidays.
In the last ten years over 800,000 ‘Food and Fun’ places have been provided, for children to benefit from a free healthy breakfast and lunch, with nutrition learning and a variety of activities delivered from a wide range of national partners such as Welsh National Sporting Governing Bodies, Cadw and Literature Wales. Enriching activities include cookery classes, den building, sports, music and much more.
We’ll be delivering creative drama workshops in schools across Wales, with this year’s theme being Legends, using our Mabinogion material to inspire the sessions. We’re incredibly excited about the opportunity to bring these stories to life and to work with children through fun, engaging and inclusive workshops!
