‘RAPSPEARE LIVE!’ exciting new show invites students to participate in a 50 minute (KS3)/ 60 minute (KS3) session whereby two Bigfooters will take them on a fun literary adventure into the world of Shakespeare’s most famous plays; Hamlet, Macbeth, Romeo & Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Using contemporary hip hop beats as an accessible way to understand the language, our Bigfooters will help students learn about who Shakespeare was and what inspired him to write. Story and imagination will play a major role in helping to immerse participants in his verse so that they can understand more intricately about the themes, language and characters he created, as well as how his transcripts have been consistently transferred to TV, Film and Stage for all to enjoy!
