Creative workshops for EYFS, KS1 & KS2
**Monday 3rd June – Wednesday 24th July 2024**
Bigfoot are Games Masters! And there is nothing our trained arts educators love more than to play games with your students; seeking out every last bit of fun and creativity that can be enjoyed!
With our inclusive approach, all children will be encouraged to take part in a range of drama based games and exercises that promote great teamwork, positive communication and speaking and listening skills.
The workshop aims to:
- Encourage a sense of pride and achievement in working together
- Increase self confidence and self esteem through performing to and collaborating with peers
- Promote respect, tolerance, team work and positive interactions between pupils
- Help pupils to develop friendships and positive connections amongst classmates
- Create a sense of belonging and camaraderie within the class
- Boost students’ mood and wellbeing
Educators will be responsible for planning the specific content of the workshops, allowing them freedom and flexibility to include their favourite games and activities that meet the aims outlined above. Activities will not be ‘themed’ to explore specific issues, topics or texts (unless specified in advance by a school), with games being played for the game’s sake; to promote team work, listening and respect throughout.
Our games sessions are a minimum of 30 minutes for EYFS up to 1 hour for KS1 & KS2 and will need to take place in a school hall, large studio room or, if the sun is shining, we can be outside!
FORMAT: Up to 5 x 45 minute – 1 hour workshops per day
COSTS: £295 + VAT per day.
