We are thrilled to report that we had a WONDERFUL World Friendship Week, 6th – 10th July, celebrating equity, kindness and belonging with schools over the country. Pupils participated in various activities which encouraged them to think about how we can all be a good friend and classmate, and the ways we can look after each other and our school community.
We were also so excited to host our very first BIG WFA workshop in Clapham on 7th July, where over 50 Mentors came together to share their experiences of being part of the WFA, participate in lots of Friendship Week activities and celebrate their achievements as WFA Peer Mentors. It was a wonderfully special event, delivered by our fabulous and famous Lead Educator Adrian Benn, and we are so grateful to the schools for making this opportunity possible for their pupils.
We are already making plans for next year’s World Friendship Week, which will be taking place 5th – 9th July – we are excited to announce that next year ALL Primary Schools across the country can participate! Lots of news will follow about this over the next few terms so keep an eye out!
