Welcome to Mysterymoor Castle, where a royal treasure has vanished! In this exciting Castles Mystery Day, pupils become detectives inside a medieval castle as they investigate the disappearance of the Queen’s necklace.
Through freeze frames, role play and interviews with castle characters, children explore the layout of castles, their defence systems and the people who lived and worked within their walls. As pupils piece together clues, examine evidence and question suspects, they develop problem-solving skills while learning about medieval life.
This lively and interactive medieval castles workshop for KS1 combines history, drama and teamwork to create an unforgettable learning experience.
