Step into the role of rainforest scientists and detectives in this immersive Amazon Rainforest Mystery Buzz Day. Pupils travel deep into the Tambopata Research Centre where a vital pair of binoculars has mysteriously disappeared, threatening important wildlife research. Through drama, role-play and problem-solving activities, children investigate suspects, follow clues and explore the incredible biodiversity of the Amazon.
Along the way they learn about rainforest habitats, fascinating animals, plant adaptations and the impact of climate change, using teamwork and creative thinking to solve the mystery. This exciting creative cross-curricular day combines geography, science and drama to help pupils deepen their understanding of one of the world’s most important ecosystems while developing communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills.
